Killing Peeker was a total lucky break, and I agree we would have been fighting an uphill battle if I hadn't gotten lucky. But I was sure I was the last Peacekeeper after two had died the same Night too, so who knows. My whole Simon and Garfunkel mantra is now meaningless I did have a niggle of wonder if patricia might be a Peacekeeper when she mentioned that there was someone else like her, but that wasn't until Night Six I don't think. If I had been able to pick up on a breadcrumb I think my play would have probably been different, possibly more aggressive and she certainly would have gotten protections when I could try and provide them. As for Peeker, I redirected kills to him on Night 1 because I thought he was either the Merc or was trying to hire the Merc since he was revealed as Deadpool after what was supposed to have been an actionless night in all ways aside from the Merc bidding. And I killed him a second time for selfish reasons but to also throw him a bone and maybe advance his powers or win condition since I didn't really care what he did or who he blew up or tripped up once Day 7 rolled around. Thanks for the cool game, Pollux! Now to read more spoilz...

Powers1. Each Night, you may spend it using your Cabalist powers suppressing your base urges and stay in your room, which means if anybody investigates you you'll show up non-hostile. Doing so will protect you from Nightkills as well, but you can be roleblocked. How exactly can you be blocked from not doing anything? That was the first thing I thought when I read crys' role. How can she be blocked from not doing anything?

She's not "not doing" anything. She's using her Cabalist powers to appear Nonhostile and protect herself from Nightkills. If somebody roleblocked her, her power would fail, she'd appear Hostile and be able to be Nightkilled.

It's too bad that Meeko is such a threat to scum in his current state. He's probably been a good candidate to get killed for a while.
Also, I didn't see if anyone's bothered to point it out, but SP claiming Hostile means he had to be lynched sooner or later. If I'm not mistaken Town's wincon requires them to get rid of all Hostiles. Scum just had to outnumber them and make up a majority of the population.
There is still a chance for scum but it's quite slim. SP lynched Today, Lightfoot or Crys killed Tonight. Tomorrow one of them or Meeko get lynched. If it's not Meeko, he might well get targeted by Idle and turn to scum. Town goes a little crazy knowing that some scum or Hostile 3P must remain; hopefully they can be convinced that one of the townies is bad and lynch them. I think that might have to happen multiple times, though.

In the Role PM he posted, he has it showing Non-hostile. www.idlemafia.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=poll&thread=2062&page=5#101447"If it's not Meeko, he might well get targeted by Idle and turn to scum" Idle?? Who is Idle? The Idle I am familiar with is not in the game.

I think he means Inner.
Lightfoot isn't going to die tonight. If Inner takes a swing at her, she still has protection against her first Nightkill, so tomorrow they'll have to lynch her, but depending on how she claims she may be able to talk her way out of it.
How the game goes from there all depends on who Lightfoot/sinjin decide to go after with their kills. They need to kill out of the claimed Town group, regardless of how dangerous Meeko is as a Third-Party. Inner, Sis, and Colby are all ripe targets and if two of those three are killed tomorrow morning there's going to be a lot of chaos.

Pollux I hope you are right...I don't think they are going to go in that direction though It would be helpful if they knew that Meeko was recruitable to them It was impossible to know where to turn for the recruit

At one time SP was talking about claiming Hostile on the scum boards; I think I got it confused with the game thread.
And yes, by Idle I meant Inner Stickler.
It occurs to me that the only reason the 'town' are on the list is because they have claimed and on Red Skeezix's say-so. It's iffy if when SP flips scum they'll consider his smear of Red to be WIFOM or not.
I think it goes from best to worst: Sister C - mason confirmed by breadcrumb Colby11 - apparently recruited people (so is confirmed to those who were recruited) and has not been wrong yet JustBeingGinger - role is all but mod-confirmed and seems unlikely to be scum, but could be 3P Hostile Inner Stickler - has played very pro-town but I'm actually a bit surprised he's been accepted. But he gets credit if gnarly flips town. gnarlycharlie - knows IS is town and gets partial credit for outing SP. He might move up in that case. lauriern - claims to have been recruited but her actions might make her suspicious
So the best choice to lynch hurts the town most (she's a straight-up doc now, right?)

Something I've been wondering about:
storyteller could conceivably discover that someone has a cover role (and with work he might find out who). Has he submitted anything that might clue him in on that yet?

The last bingo card storyteller sent in was completely right except for sinjin's Princess Peach cover role. He's literally one answer shy of finishing his win condition. However...I don't think he's been back to the board since he submitted it.

I crave validation.
For the scum boards, that is...

With Sister's revelation, I hope Inner does the right thing and targets Lightfoot instead of crys. Then the town will be in a fairly good position.

Sister Coyote really does play close to the vest, doesn't she?
She has already let out that she gets the role name as well as the Hostile/Non-Hostile designation, but she simply says "Lightfoot is Hostile."

Game's basically over now.
Laurie did the smart move and chose to block Lightfoot. Sinjin's targeting Meeko and Meeko's watching himself, which means sinjin's going to be exposed. Inner's killing crys, but if he targeted Lightfoot instead we'd have a no-kill night. Either way all the killing parties are outed.
Unless something really weird happens, game should probably be called and done by Night Eight.

That really sucks.....Knowing what we know, obviously Meeko was the wrong choice by Sinjin, but being in the situation in realtime, I might have made that mistake as well. Ugh ugh ugh. I hope she's able to come up with something to get out of it.

At least Meekos flip out will provide some closing entertainment.
I'm not sure why Sinjin shot Meeko with 2-3 confirmed townies loitering about it was something that could (and should have been) on the back burner for her.
Like you don't take potshots at 3rd parties in that instance.

Yeah, Meeko's at least making the last day interesting.
Sinjin thought Meeko was going to accept recruitment, but the funny thing is Colby didn't even attempt to recruit Meeko the past Day. The scum's Nightkill choices I think was what hampered them overall this game. If they had chosen better the game would have been closer at the end.
They had the options of pizzaguy and Colby as outed Town on Night Three. While hunting for pizzaguy's partner was a good idea, the fact that they had a recruiter on the table should have been their priority, or shushing pizzaguy so his partner would have to reveal themselves to give out new information. Same for Night Four. They drummed themselves up into paranoia about Bill and used their unblockable Nightkill on a Town that was claiming vanilla. They, again, should have targeted pizzaguy, Colby, or Inner as I think he was outed as vig by this point.
They shot themselves in the foot by choosing to go after Third Parties instead of trying to use them as a smokescreen to get the Town to lynch them.

Like you don't take potshots at 3rd parties in that instance. If everyone's claims were as stated (and they pretty much are), Meeko was the only role that could detect her activity. With him out of the way, she'd only have to talk her way out of a lynch, and probably wouldn't be suspect; she might have brought it down to three-handed. There were no properly confirmed non-Hostile among the town but Sister C. Unless, of course, Meeko's allowed to watch himself. I'm not saying scum didn't make a few poor choices, but Town hasn't had to lift a finger this game.

A tracker/watcher is the primary threat to a godfather who's already been investigated.
