Any chance of a link to the scum and mason boards?
Do scum know that Silver Jan is a one-shot recruiter? I don't think she's used her power yet, right?

Someone else that's been paying attention to the game...is there a reason Cookies' play has been so investigative heavy?
Sister Coyote got her Day One, Red Skeezix tried Night One, now the scum want the Mercenary to go after her and KidV's cursing her...maybe it's just funny to me since she's got the "everything fails" power and everyone wants to target her.

Heh, you must have missed my PM D2 where, just before my death, I changed my Merc order from full self-protection to full investigation of Cookies.
I didn't have a very good reason for investigating her, it was a reaction. I disliked a comment she made after I was forced to claim, it was couched in a "just sayin", but it made me rethink my town lean on her...

You're approved.
Town's in a way better position now, but now the Serial Killer is off the leash and will be killing every night. Poor KidV. He was playing really well, and honestly got killed because of askthepizzaguy believing he was town so strongly.
I'm still finding it hilarious that there's this magnet for investigations: storyteller, Merestil Haye, Cookies are being targeted a bunch. I'm interested to see if storyteller does anything with the information that Mhaye is the Mercenary.

ok. pizza i'll play if for no other reason to stir some stuff up. you want four scum and/or hostiles, right? gingerinnerpizzacolbyand kind of a 4b cookieshelp at all? Wow, in game with only 6 Town left among 22 living players, peeker managed to list 4 of them. Plus an extra non-hostile. Reverse the polarity of your scum detector.

Meeko's decided to start sharing some of the information he has with town. He's come to the wrong conclusion, but if they follow up on his word they're going to come out ahead here.

It's good to see Meeko make a case.

If they don't start voting and Bill doesn't show up, he's going to autolynch himself out of the game thanks to his Mercenary bid.

Vigilante is a town role. If I were PFK, I'd be a serial killer and I've never heard of a Third Party killing role. Name: The JokerAlignment: Town Designation: Hostile Role: Vigilante Does that make you feel better? That certainly couldn't have been mocked up by scum. My claim is so much stronger now than it was 5 minutes ago. Liar! The very role you're playing, from the Arkham 2 game, which you played in, was a third-party killer.

Not entirely sure what Bill's plan was by claiming unprovoked like that. He was about to draw the scum kill because they thought he was pizza's partner which would have been good for Town since he's vanilla now. Except now scum know he's vanilla and won't kill him, and he's lessened the pool for pizza's actual partner to hide in. Poor play all around, not usually what I expect from Bill.
That, coupled with Sister Coyote investigating the Godfather, means this game could still swing any which way.

Sad to see the scum panicked after the terrible setbacks. A town BillMc would almost have to be telling the truth about his out-of-the-blue claim. It does provide a bit of confusion to have him show up dead, so there's that.
Also, the person I realized only too late would be ideal to recruit, if it's possible -- is the Cabalist Werewolf (crys) recruitable by scum? I'm guessing 'no', but it would seem to have been a better chance at success than peeker.

The three scum recruitables are Meeko (Deadeye Dick), LaurieRN (Dr. Horrible), and gnarlycharlie (Mal). Of the three, only Dr. Horrible had to have been recruited by the scum. Mal and Deadeye both have ways of joining scum without specific recruitment, so there's still a chance they'll get another member.

Apologies to all, especially Pollux - my work has just become totally insane for travel - I've just not had the time to do the game setup any justice, that said, looks like two thirds of my conclusions were right on who was scum/hostile.
As to why did I claim "not usually what I expect from Bill" - exactly that reason - do something different from what folk seem to expect of me now -- it had the desired effect of me being the NK rather than one of the other town

Actually, you were the scum target from the start of the Day, as being the best chance for Pizza's silent partner. With more time to process the claim I think they'd have gone for a better target (Meeko), but the claim also may have made them think you were obfuscating.
I expect SP will eventually figure out the Ascetic Monk thing, because I understood his cover role to be already taken when I read his PM. Whether scum figure out exactly who it is is tough to know.

Yeah, Bill, you went from "we're going to Kill Bill because we think he's askthepizzaguy's partner" to "we're going to Kill Bill because we think he's hiding something to his role."
As for the Ascetic Monk stuff, the entire idea behind having two Ascetic Monks was inspired by Monkgate of the Cult of Sekham game, but I'm not sure many people will remember it. In the game, two scum counterclaimed the actual mason Monks and so there was a big to-do about which group of two were the actual masons. So I put two people in the game, one the actual ascetic monk, and the other a fake ascetic monk but would investigate as named for a bit of Gastardly confusion.
Finally, can we just take a moment to appreciate how everyone is kind of giving storyteller his win condition on a platter? If I'd made his role Hostile like it was in Arkham 1, the game would be just about over.
