"I always thought, when I spoke to him, "If ever anyone I knew was going to turn out to be a serial killer, it would be him.""
Name: Lee Hallen, Former Blade Runner
Alignment: Town
Designation: Hostile
Role: Detective Mason
Background
New Canaan. It haunts you to this very day. You were so close, so close to exterminating all the Replicants and all the humans who created them. The last thing you remember was shooting down the Nexus-9, turning, excited to leave, and then...nothing. The next thing you remember was the asylum. You're not completely sure how you're alive. Murmurs of "partial decapitation" were whispered when they thought you couldn't hear them. How partial decapitation is even possible, you don't know. But you spent years in the asylum. Years under the microscope, and you began to crack. You were broken before. Now you're shattered, a shell of the proud Blade Runner you used to be.
And then one day a speculator, another one of those bloody speculators managed to mount an escape. You used the opportunity to make your own escape. Tired of the endless probing and the pitiful stares of the nurses, you needed to see the outside world. But instead of choosing your own path, you followed the speculator. Off his rocker, he was easy to track. Revenge was the only thing twisting your mind, revenge for New Canaan, and right when you were about to nail that bastard down and make him sing, he went through some sort of portal. Before you could escape, you got dragged in as well.
So now you're here. Not sure where here is, but it's not the world you left. In fact, after thinking long and hard about it, maybe it's time to start a new life. No more killing, no more Replicants, and especially no more padded walls. This world can be your new world. Your redemption.
The speculator, XXXX, is here also. After catching his eye, you gave him a nod. You and he are on the same wavelength, so you can 100% verify he is Town-aligned just like you. When you had a moment and the others were distracted, you passed him an earbud, a communication device you snagged on your way out of the asylum. Now the two of you can talk to each other in secret, at any time, Day or Night, here: XXXX
Between the two of you, you shoudl be able to come up with a way to make this a new world worth living in.
Powers
1. Once per Day, you can call upon your former Blade Runner skills and secretly investigate another player in the game. Your resources are slim in this new world, though, and you will only be able to determine the players role name and their current designation. You will receive your answer at Dusk.
2. Your partner, XXXX, has Tagged you for protection. He can fill you in on what that means.
3. You know with 100% certainty that XXXX is Town-aligned. You may talk here: XXXX at any time, Day or Night. He has his own special abilities, but should either of you die, you will inherit the other's power in addition to your own.
Win Condition
You are town. You win when all hostile non-town players have been eliminated and there is at least one town-aligned person alive.
