"I've come to understand that the truth isn't really what's important...what really matters is what people agree is the truth."
Name: Master of the Deck of Dragons
Alignment: Third-Party
Designation: Hostile
Role: Special
Background
In the original Malazan mafia game, you were the greatest threat. Everyone was looking to kill you, and you were all alone. Everyone else had clans, everyone else had allies...you had nobody. What you DID have was a humongous wealth of powers and abilities. But even with all that at your fingertips, you came up short.
But here in this space station? This is a different game. There are no clans now. It's just you and your abilities versus a whole mess of chickens running around with their heads cut off. This is your proving ground. Once again you're by yourself, but this time you're more confident because this time, nobody knows you're dangerous. Nobody knows how threatening you are.
And you plan on taking strict advantage of that fact.
Powers
1. You have a multitude of powers. Your only restriction is that you cannot use more than one power per Day/Night cycle. So you can use a power Day One, but not Night One, but if you use a power Night One you may also use one Day Two.
- Twice per game, you may invoke a kill. One must be done at Night, the other can be done at Night or during the Day.
- Twice per game, you may protect a player, including yourself. This can be done only at Night, and protects against most kills.
- Once per game, you may choose a player and redirect them to another target. This must be done at Night.
- Twice per game, you may boost the number of votes someone can cast by one. They will be aware of the boost and it will be reflected in the vote count, and you may cast it on yourself. This must be done during the Day.
- Twice per game, you may block a player's action. One time must be done at Night, the other time may be done at Night or during the Day.
2. In addition to your powers, you have found four items on the space station. You are not sure what their purpose is, but on any Night that you don't take an action, you may instead give out an item to a player of your choice. This is not pre-empted by using a Day power. The items are:
- A .38 Revolver
- A Creepy Doll
- A Trick Quarter with Heads on both faces
- A Jack-in-the-Box
You must give these away and you cannot use them yourself. However, because of the presence of the Quarter, you have gathered that Two-Face is not present in this game, and is a valid choice for a cover role.
Win Condition
You are third-party and extremely hostile. You win if all other hostile forces are eliminated and you are alive, or if you are alive and there are four or fewer players remaining.
