"The eldritch horror could be heard in the darkness, a horrid slurping noise foretelling it's approach. It slipped out of the shadows far closer than expected, it's warped mouth expanding and revealing a nightmare of teeth below."
Name: Bob the Illithid
Alignment: Town
Designation: Hostile
Role: Recruiter
Background
You're an illithid, a mind flayer, a supposedly evil beast. So what if you devour brains and enslave other races to do your bidding as you drive them mad? Everybody's a critic. Where you come from, you have a long, nigh unpronouncable name in the Earth realms. You've visited here before, and after a while of dealing with insane, gabbling human tongues, you prefer to just go by Bob in these parts.
Unlike most of the others on this space station, you came here voluntarily. You knew what was going on and you were slightly down on your sanity-starved slave quota back home, so you came here to flay a few minds, drink a few cold ones, sit back and relax. But now there's a mafia game starting and people can't seem to get over the fact you have tentacles for a mouth, so before you find yourself dead you need to recruit some other people onto the side of madness. While you're doing so, try and blend in, well, as much as a guy with tentacles for a mouth can blend in.
Reaching out with your mental powers, you can tell there are others on the space station that are already insane. They will most assuredly help you in your quest, and there may even be a suitable replacement for you if you die, but don't count on it.
Powers
1. Once per Day, you may choose a target to mind flay. At Dusk, your target will find themselves gripped with the tentacles of madness. Should they choose to embrace it, they will join the Town side with whatever powers they have. Some are weak, and if they choose to repel the madness your power will kill them. Some are strong enough to repel the madness if they so choose with no consequence, and some can't be turned at all. If you flay someone who is already Town there will be no effect.
Win Condition
You are town. You win when all hostile non-town players have been eliminated and there is at least one town-aligned person alive.
