"Human beings make life so interesting. Do you know, that in a universe so full of wonders, they have managed to invent boredom."
Name: Death
Alignment: Third-Party
Designation: Hostile
Role: Serial Killer
Background
You're the Grim Reaper. The big guy with the scythe. The one, the only, Death. Now most of the time you look like how everyone pictures you...big skeleton in a cloak. Occasionally, though, you like to bum around as a regular guy. Just like a few days ago, when you were bumming around in Last Bastion down on Earth. That's right, the game of Apocalypse Mafia that you won at. Congratulations!
And now just a few short days later, you're here on this space station. It seems another round of mafia is going to start. That's great! You can defend your title, rack up some more kills, and have a few more souls for your collection while the apocalypse rages on. And then get home in time for breakfast.
Except something's wrong. Somebody on this space station has delved into magicks they don't understand, and you feel it in your bones because your bones aren't all your own right now. This myster person has harnessed control of you and your movement and you absolutely hate it. You're going to have to find them and exterminate them. That is, after they stop making you bake cookies. Seriously, cookies? Why would they make the Grim Reaper bake cookies?!
Oh one last thing. That piece of you that's always missing? The little guy that is affectionate towards cheese? Yeah, him. Death of Rats, he's here. As always, he's completely loyal to you and has the same win condition as you. Except you don't recognize him in your bound state and it seems like he's having trouble recognizing you from sight as well. But if you manage to catch up with him, well, you'll have a definite ally to help you against your mystery controller.
Also, since you can sense other Horseman, you know that no other Horseman is on this space station, and thus War is a safe cover role to use.
Powers
1. On odd Nights, you are at the mercy of your controller. He can make you do anything, from bake cookies to paint your toenails to murder and maim. You don't know what's going through the mind of the person that had the nerve to harness Death. But you'll find out. In addition, because of your bound state, while your controller is still alive you are prevented from bidding on the Mercenary.
2. On even Nights, you have concentrated enough power to break your binds and do what you came here to do: kill. On any even Night, you may choose a target and kill them. If you kill the person that is controlling you, you will lose your restraints and be able to kill every Night as well as bid on the Mercenary.
3. You're looking for the Death of Rats, and he's probably looking for you. Should you find him on any Night via your controller or your own attempted kill, the Grim Squeaker will be made aware of your unfortunate predicament and be able to assist you in finding and eliminating your controller. You can't kill the Death of Rats, even if your controller tries to make you.
4. Because you're, well, Death, you're resistant to death. You will shrug off the first Nightkill attempt on you. You cannot protect yourself against a lynch, and the second Nightkill cannot be prevented.
Win Condition
You are third-party and very hostile. You win if your controller is dead and ONE of the following conditions is met:
1. There are four or fewer players alive and both you and Death of Rats are alive.
2. There are three players alive, you or Death of Rats is alive, and at least one of the other two alive is a non-hostile party.
3. There are two players alive, and you or Death of Rats is alive.
*NOTE: If you do not find Death of Rats before you perish, Death of Rats will have the option of abandoning your win condition in favor of joining Town.
